Ian Fry, the principal for the business is an
accredited assessor for the National Australian Built Environment Rating Scheme
(NABERS) and the National Home Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) and is also
contracted to the Australian Commonwealth Government for home sustainability
assessments.

Ian gained his experience initially in the energy
sector working for the Australian Gas Light Company and specialising in
domestic and commercial heating and cooling systems before commencing a career
in the building industry. During his 9 years with AVJennings Ian coordinated
the construction of one of Australia’s first small lot medium density
developments located in Castle Hill NSW, before controlling a division of
AVJennings in the North West sector which included the management of a 17 home
display village and a team of staff constructing over 300 homes per year. Ian
has also held senior executive positions with Pioneer International and RJ
Beaumont Pty Ltd. After owning and operating a business in the area of home
improvements Ian has now focused his career in energy, water and environmental
solutions for the built environment.
